Dzisiaj troszkę słownictwa biologicznego. Interesuje się tym, więc pewnie to nie ostatni artykuł z tego zakresu. Na razie będą to słówka wprowadzające, nic konkretnego, misz-masz.

Jeśli nie znacie jakiegoś słówka, polecam najpierw zastanowić się nad jego znaczeniem z kontekstu, bo większości naprawdę można się domyślić. Na końcu notki napisałam tłumaczenia tych trudniejszych, więc jak już naprawdę nie będziecie mogli wpaść, co dane słówko znaczy, dowiecie się na końcu notki.

Ecosystem – all the plants and animals in a particular area considered as a system that depend on one another.

  

Food chain – a group of living things that are all connected because each one is eaten by the next in the series.

  

Photosynthesis – the process where green plants use the energy from light to produce their food.

Bacteria are microscopic unicellular organisms that exists everywhere in the environment.

  

Insects are the most numerous and widespread type of living thing with 925,000 different species.

An animal that eats both plants and meat is called omnivore.

Animals are divided into:

a). invertebrates such as insects, worms etc.

b). vertebrates such as mammals, fish, reptiles.
